چکیده

In the present paper we consider a class of exact solutions of the Schröedinger equation with the Razavi potential. By means of this we obtain some wave functions and mass spectra of relativistic scalar field model with spontaneously broken symmetry about static kink solution. Also an appearance in the theory of bosons, which have two different spins, will be shown. Herewith the breaking of symmetry between the quantum mechanical kink particles having the opposite sign spins (i.e. T-invariance violation) takes place. Finally, in this connection the possible fields of application for the model are discussed.

Quantum kink model and SU(2) symmetry: Spin interpretation and T-violation

In this paper we consider the class of exact solutions of the Schröedinger equation with the Razavi potential. By means of this we obtain some wavefunctions and mass spectra of the relativistic scalar field model with spontaneously broken symmetry near the static kink solution. Appearance of the bosons, which have two different spins, will be shown in the theory, thereby the additional breaking...

Supersonic Discrete Kink-Solitons and Sinusoidal Patterns with “Magic” Wavenumber in Anharmonic Lattices

– The sharp pulse method is applied to Fermi-Pasta-Ulam (FPU) and LennardJones (LJ) anharmonic lattices. Numerical simulations reveal the presence of high energy strongly localized “discrete” kink-solitons (DK), which move with supersonic velocities that are proportional to kink amplitudes. For small amplitudes, the DK’s of the FPU lattice reduce to the well-known “continuous” kink-soliton solu...

Neutral Bound States in Kink-like Theories

In this paper we present an elementary derivation of the semi-classical spectrum of neutral particles in a field theory with kink excitations. In the nonintegrable cases, we show that each vacuum state cannot generically support more than two stable particles, since all other neutral exitations are resonances, which will eventually decay. A phase space estimate of these decay rates is also give...

Applications of Classical and Quantum Algebras to Molecular Thermodynamics

Lie-algebraic and quantum-algebraic techniques are used in the analysis of thermodynamic properties of molecules and solids. The local anharmonic effects are described by a Morse-like potential associated with the su(2) algebra. A vibrational high-temperature partition function and the related thermodynamic potentials are derived in terms of the parameters of the model. Quantum analogues of anh...

We discuss the role of the axial U(1)A symmetry in the chiral phase transition using the U(Nf )R× U(Nf )L linear sigma model with two massless quark flavors. We expect that above a certain temperature the axial U(1)A symmetry will be effectively restored as well as SU(Nf )R×SU(Nf )L. Then we can construct a string-like static solution of the η string and a kink-like classical solution of the do...
